Navodaya Central School Students to Witness Historic NISAR Satellite Launch at ISRO Sriharikota
Navodaya Central School is proud to announce that it has become the first ever school in Raichur to organize a student visit to ISRO’s Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, to witness the launch of the NISAR satellite — a prestigious joint Earth observation mission by NASA and ISRO.
A team of 45 students from Grades 8 to 10, accompanied by teachers Ms. Naseem Firdaus, Mrs. Rupali Tripathi, Mr. Sanjay Thakur, and Mr. Amit Mishra, will attend the live launch scheduled for 30th July 2025 at 5:40 PM IST.
Under the visionary leadership of Chairman Shri S. R. Reddy, Director Dr. Latika Bhatia, and Principal Mr. M. V. Rajan, this initiative aims to provide students with real-world exposure to India’s achievements in space science and technology.
