Drone Technology Workshop – 21st July 2026
On 21st July 2026, Navodaya Central School organized an informative and engaging Drone Technology Workshop to introduce students to the fascinating world of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their rapidly expanding applications in modern science and technology. The workshop aimed to spark curiosity, encourage innovation, and provide students with practical exposure to one of the fastest-growing technological fields.
The workshop commenced with a warm welcome to the resource persons and participants, followed by an introductory session highlighting the significance of drone technology in today’s world. The experts explained the evolution of drones, their basic structure, and the working principles behind these intelligent flying machines. Students learned about the various components of a drone, including the frame, propellers, motors, battery, flight controller, sensors, GPS, and remote-control systems.
The resource persons demonstrated how drones operate using advanced navigation systems, sensors, and communication technologies. They explained the science behind drone flight, including lift, balance, stability, and directional control, making the concepts easy to understand through practical demonstrations and interactive discussions.
One of the most exciting parts of the workshop was the live drone flying demonstration. Students observed how drones take off, hover, manoeuvre, capture aerial images and videos, and land safely. The demonstration showcased the precision, stability, and versatility of drone technology, leaving students amazed by its capabilities.
